High-Level Meeting in Bangui, CAR Today, the Minister of Interior and Public Security welcomed a delegation from RECSA led by Mr. Jacob Narengo, Representative of the Chair of the RECSA Council of Ministers. Accompanying him were SAIGP Jacinta Muthoni, RECSA Chair of the Forum of Experts on SALW, and Mr. Betindji, RECSA Executive Secretary.
Key agenda items included: 
- Ratification of the Nairobi Protocol on SALW
- CAR’s initiatives on WAM management
- Participation in RECSA Organs meetings (June 2025, Kenya)
- Kenya-CAR bilateral cooperation on counter-terrorism capacity building . The meeting concluded with actionable recommendations and a renewed commitment to strengthen RECSA’s mandate under the #NairobiProtocol #RECSA
