11/09/2017 – CAPACITY BUILDING: ARMS MARKING TRAINING OF TRAINERS

On 11th to 15th September, experts from the Regional Centre on Small Arms (RECSA) trained selected officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo on the installation, operation and maintenance of the Couth MC 2000 arms marking machine.
Twenty Selected Participants from the National Police and National Commission on small arms, of whom 6 were female, attended the knowledge transfer sessions.
H.E. Mr. Yves Kisombe, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, graced the closing ceremony and also launched the marking of National Police firearms on 15th September, 2017.
